At Florida Event Decor, we had the pleasure of being part of a glamorous event at the Hyatt Regency Orlando: the Halperns’ 2025 Florida Culinary Showcase. This was an event filled with sophistication, custom decor, and memorable moments. Guests were welcomed by a dramatic custom feather arch, designed and built by our scenic artists and assembled on-site to create a striking first impression.

A Clear Statement

At Florida Event Decor, we believe every detail should speak for itself, whether it is a bold focal point or a subtle accent. For this showcase, the goal was clear: to communicate exclusivity and excellence.

The event gathered 100 leading protein and specialty suppliers from around the world. They revealed new products and showed what makes each line special. They also had cooking demos that sparked fresh menu ideas while respecting tradition. Everything about the evening needed to emphasize that this was not an ordinary event. Our team made sure that every element reinforced that sense of distinction.

Luxurious Custom Decor

Events today are about creating experiences that make guests feel special. That is where custom decor plays such an important role. It allows hosts to stand out and leaves guests with lasting impressions.

Our design team uses mood boards and renderings to help clients bring ideas to life. That process is what defines our work at Florida Event Decor.
For this event, we made a custom PVC arch. It had ostrich feathers in different sizes and gold inflatable accents at the bottom. People have long connected feathers and arches to royalty and grandeur. The arch was a symbol, welcoming guests into a special and curated space. Its shape invited everyone in. This made people feel excited to be part of something important.

The black and white feathers, the black carpet, and custom stations all enhanced the luxury theme. This made the entrance perfect for the evening ahead.

Luxe Art Deco Design

From the very beginning, this event was designed to feel sophisticated. The entrance alone made it clear: this was no ordinary culinary showcase. Even the invitation, with its black and gold accents and geometric framing, reflected elegance and exclusivity.

The theme drew from the Roaring Twenties, a time known for its wealth and luxury. Feathers, geometric patterns, black carpets, and metallic tones all connect to this culture. By weaving these elements throughout the event, we created an experience that fully immersed the participants.
One of the highlights was our Feather Towers with Crystal Beaded Curtains. These are visually stunning pieces that set the tone for the event while also offering a perfect focal point and photo opportunity. We placed them next to the branded step-and-repeat featuring Halper's logo and art deco-inspired designs, which reinforced both the theme and the brand.

Luxurious Furniture

Furniture plays an essential role in shaping the atmosphere. Imagine a Roaring Twenties gala paired with rustic boho furniture. It would completely break the mood. For this event, we chose highboy tables with gold accents. The centerpieces featured flowers and candles in matching colors. The warm metallic finishes added a touch of luxury and sophistication. They also blended well with the other decor.
