What’s that feeling you get at a carnival? The rush of adrenaline, the smell of popcorn and cotton candy in the air, the joy that fills you as rides spin and people line up for their next adventure. It’s that holiday-season energy: colors flashing, laughter echoing, kids running, couples flirting beneath the Ferris wheel. It’s nostalgia and excitement all at once, bubbling up inside like popcorn popping in the food trucks nearby.

For this homecoming event at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, we wanted to capture all of that. Our team designed custom builds and unique thematic décor that included bright food trucks, playful signage, and picnic-style furniture to bring the carnival magic indoors.

And yes, we had a little fun along the way.

Pizza, Pickles, and More!

That was the glowing sign above the food trucks, because what’s a carnival without food?

Our custom-built trucks were the stars of the night. Each one featured a cheerful façade with working headlights and side mirrors, serving windows for food and drinks, shelves for trays and supplies, and soft overhead lighting. They were colorful, inviting, and full of character.

Had you been there, you wouldn’t have missed these beauties! A feast for the senses, complete with glowing signage, warm lights, and that unmistakable fried-food aroma, crispy, sweet, and nostalgic all at once.

Guests Curtain Call

To welcome guests into the dining area, we created a glowing, circus-inspired poster that set the stage for the evening. Each piece was framed in lights and illuminated from within, creating an irresistible focal point.

These posters were interactive experiences, perfect for spotlighting an event’s message, creating photo ops, and encouraging social sharing.

After all, no carnival is complete without light bulbs — and these fit perfectly with the string lights and glowing bars that completed the scene.

Rustic Seating Arrangements

To keep things comfortable and casual, we designed cozy seating areas with natural slat furniture and picnic-style groupings. Each setup included two loveseats, two chairs with soft tan cushions, a central coffee table, and accent pillows in the client’s chosen colors.

We wanted guests to feel at ease — to sit, talk, and enjoy the moment. The centerpieces added a playful touch: six classic Coca-Cola glass bottles connected with colorful plastic rings. Simple, nostalgic, and a perfect conversation starter.
