And… we did it again! Another super fun, fully immersive setup, alligator and all (because, well, that’s Florida!). That’s the Florida Event Decor touch: custom, themed environments designed to bring any event story to life.

This time, we blended Everglades-inspired marsh vibes with laid-back Florida beach style, and the result turned heads at Sapphire Falls Resort in Orlando, FL. Think tropical colors, custom beach decor, lush greenery, a citrus-inspired photo op, ambient lighting, games, and more; all working together to create a playful, one-of-a-kind experience.

Summer Vibes Right at the Entrance!

Transforming any venue into a story takes thoughtful decor. At Florida Event Decor, our scenic artists design one-of-a-kind pieces that put creativity in service of purpose and storytelling. In event design, first impressions set the tone and guide guests seamlessly into the experience.

For this event, we built a 10’H x 12’W Beach Ball Arch to create a playful, welcoming entrance. Framing each side of the arch were two larger-than-life surfboards with custom signage, a thematic, highly Instagram-worthy setup that worked as both an entrance feature and a subtle nod to the event’s sponsor.

Right next to it stood a 6’H x 8’W “Welcome to Florida” Postcard, surrounded by potted greenery and sending a clear message: hello, Florida wilderness and goodbye, noisy outside world!

And because first impressions deserve a little extra flair, we added colorful directional signs pointing to famous resort cities around the globe. From the very first step, guests were already in vacation mode, ready to swap the everyday noise for pure shore-side energy.

Ballroom Tropical Style

We dressed the ballroom in tropical colors, covering round dinner tables with vibrant linens, a true feast for the eyes! Yellows, greens, and blues filled the room, accented with tropical flower centerpieces and lively bingo games that kept the evening entertaining.

To make the space feel even more dynamic and on-theme, we added Tropical Drum Barrel High-Boys with wooden tops and Conga Drum High-Boy Tables, perfect spots for guests to gather, mingle, and enjoy drinks. To complete the look, we paired them with colorful barstools, adding a touch of Cuban-inspired rhythm and flair.

From the tables to the tiniest details, every piece of decor carried the tropical spirit.

How about we take a photo?

Photo ops were at the heart of this event! Every detail was designed to create those perfect, Instagram-worthy moments.

For this beach-and-Everglades-inspired setup, we built four colorful vintage beach huts, each glowing with its own uplighting and accented with tropical touches: a fern, an areca palm, and surfboards lit dramatically from below.

In the hallways, guests were greeted by three oversized parrots, perched among lush foliage groupings and highlighted with vibrant uplights.

But the star of the night? A show-stopping Alligator Dinghy Vignette. Picture it: a swamp dinghy with a fisherman and an alligator, surrounded by low greenery, dock pilings, and three weathered oil drums — all staged on a wooden platform. The marsh had never felt more alive than in this larger-than-life custom decor.

And last but not least, you know we can’t resist citrus flair! Set in the heart of Florida’s orange country, this event featured a 9’H x 10’W Orange Slice Swing that had guests lining up for their turn. This eye-catching photo op included a 10’W x 8’H boxwood backdrop wall, dressed with faux flowers, oranges, and the company’s logo. Guests couldn’t resist snapping and sharing this moment on social media while enjoying the celebration.
