Step inside a 20-foot-wide brick-and-botanicals entrance
Florida Event Decor built the Pub Brick Entrance for Hello! Destination Management, pairing brick architecture with lush greenery so the arrival itself became part of the event.
A Grand Arrival Defined by Architectural Statements
The entrance commanded attention: a 10-foot-tall brick facade stretching 20 feet wide, with a six-foot passage guiding guests through the installation. Painted flats cleverly concealed structural supports, giving the illusion of weightless, authentic brickwork. Custom 3'x3' signage added a refined branding touch, while four strategically placed uplights bathed the textured surfaces in a warm, inviting glow.
Antique streetlamps flanked the entryway, each featuring three functioning light heads and lush ferns at their base. Shadows danced across the brick and stone, creating depth and movement as guests approached. The combination of classic materials and botanical accents balanced classic elegance and contemporary design.
Interactive Design That Guides and Delights
The entrance also invited exploration. Surrounding greenery, faux topiaries, and subtle lighting transitions created intuitive pathways into the ballroom. Spiral topiaries and faux ferns punctuated the route, offering visual pockets where guests could pause, admire, and engage naturally without disrupting circulation. All of it reinforced the idea that arrival is part of the event.
Strategic Lounge and Engagement Zones
Inside the foyer, lounge groupings and vertical displays echoed the entrance’s aesthetic, creating spaces that encouraged conversation while maintaining clear circulation. Brick return sections and flat 4x8 units defined areas with structure, and kept the foyer easy to move through. Behind the scenes, jack braces and sandbags kept everything safe and stable.
Branding That Blends Naturally
Custom acrylic signage integrated sponsor branding organically into the guest journey. Paired with uplighting, these elements drew attention without feeling intrusive, and gave guests natural photo moments to share.
Lighting, Ambience, and Sensory Impact
Four uplights highlighted architectural and botanical features, balancing ambient warmth with focal points of interest. Metallic accents on brick and stone caught the light, creating subtle motion as guests moved through the space. The gentle rustle of ferns, the warm glow of lamps, and the play of shadows gave the foyer a warm, layered atmosphere.
Precision in Production
Florida Event Decor handled the installation, coordinating three trucks and a six-person crew for efficient setup and removal. Completed within a two-to-three-hour window, every piece adhered to strict specifications, ensuring both safety and aesthetic impact.
