A Welcome Reception That Set the Tone

For the Cohera Caribe FSAE Welcome Reception, Florida Event Decor combined custom fabrication, themed decor, specialty lighting, and immersive styling to create an environment that immediately communicated the evening's theme.

Mounted on a custom-fabricated base with authentic tires and wheels, the truck tailgate measured approximately 65 inches wide by 90 inches long, transforming a practical buffet into one of the reception's defining features.
Instead of hiding the catering station behind traditional skirting, Florida Event Decor made it an integral part of the event design.
Positioned at the center of the reception, it naturally encouraged guests to gather, explore the space, and start conversations while reinforcing the event's retro-inspired theme.

Before guests arrived, the team completed custom fabrication, delivery, decor installation, lighting, styling, and final detailing.
Once the reception ended, every element was carefully removed, restoring the Stadium Club to its original condition that same evening.
Everything guests experienced—from the custom truck tailgate buffet to the suspended disco balls—was installed before doors opened and removed before the venue closed that same evening.
