At the CohnReznick Opening Reception during the 2025 New Markets Tax Credit Summit, Florida Event Décor brought the vibrant, joyful spirit of a citrus grove to the shores of Miami Beach. With custom-built bars, organic design elements, and juicy centerpieces, the event radiated warm tones, fresh textures, and playful, photo-ready energy.

We were honored to design and execute a fully immersive experience that was anything but ordinary.

Custom Citrus Bar – A Zesty First Impression

Nothing kicks off a reception like a custom bar that pops — and this bold orange panel bar did just that.

Painted in a custom citrus hue, the 6' wide curved bar was the main attraction under the umbrellas. The sleek recessed paneling offered a clean, polished frame for a wide selection of spirits. Its bold, juicy tone not only matched the event’s playful theme but also added a visual anchor to the lush outdoor setting.

Handmade-inspired lounge setting

Set beneath swaying palms and open Miami skies, our outdoor lounge groupings invited guests to relax in casual sophistication. With our recently expanded furniture rental collection, we now offer a wider range of stylish and versatile options to suit any event.

Each setup included:
  • Wooden-framed lounge chairs and sofas
  • Bright orange accent pillows for a citrus pop
  • Crisp blue and white gingham picnic rugs
  • A fun patch of faux grass as a coffee table, bringing a whimsical, picnic-inspired vibe to life

    • This seamless blend of playfulness and polish created a warm, inviting atmosphere where conversations flowed naturally.

    Centerpieces that Made a Splash

    The centerpieces for this event were nothing short of iconic:
    • Tall glass cylinders filled with faux oranges
    • Topped with lush orange ranunculus and greenery, including faux tangerines
    • Bold, eye-catching, and bright without overwhelming
    These vibrant arrangements unified every table with the citrus theme and offered an elegant nod to the event’s message of growth and impact.

    Glowing Ambience with String Lighting

    To elevate the atmosphere with a soft, romantic glow, we installed our String Lighting Package—perfect for evening events and grand interiors.

    Each package featured:
    • Seven 13’H truss sticks
    • Six 40’L LED string light strands
    • Two decorative ferns at the base of each truss
    • Optional burlap or black spandex truss covers
    The string lights provided over 240 feet of ambient lighting per package, transforming the space into a cozy, sparkling retreat. Whether illuminating conversation zones or framing the dining area, this lighting created a beautifully lit, cohesive environment.

    “Orange You Glad You Came?” – The Perfect Photo Op

    No Florida Event Décor experience is complete without a bit of fun — and this custom citrus-themed photo wall delivered.

    With an 8'x8' white wall dressed in vibrant faux florals and oranges, plus dimensional printed logos and playful typography ("Orange you glad you came?"), it invited guests to stop, smile, and snap.

    Bold yet polished, this wall merged brand storytelling with vibrant design. The florals popped against the clean white backdrop, creating a visually striking moment that guests couldn’t resist.

    Dining Tables with Rustic Soul

    To tie in a grounded, communal feel, we brought in (4) Farm Specialty Dining Tables with Benches, each seating up to 8–10 guests.

    These rustic-style tables featured:

    • Dark wood tops with sturdy X-bases
    • Matching benches that invited casual, cozy dining
    • Strategic placement near lounges and market crates to keep the flow open and warm
    It was a farmhouse charm with a modern, coastal twist — perfect for the setting and the guests.

    From beginning to end, this event was a joyful celebration of color, freshness, and thoughtful design. And behind every crate, every faux orange, and every curated detail was our incredible Florida Event Décor team — making sure every piece was styled, installed, and photo-ready.
