Planning an Event on Amelia Island
Amelia Island sits at the northeast corner of Florida, just south of the Georgia line, with Jacksonville International Airport a short drive away. Most corporate groups here book a resort, such as The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island or the Omni Amelia Island Resort, or take over a space in historic downtown Fernandina Beach.
Resort events run on the venue's schedule. We plan the build around the load-in window, the loading dock and the insurance paperwork the venue asks for, and we talk to your venue contact directly so you are not relaying details between us.
Oceanfront lawns and pool decks bring wind, sand and salt air. Backdrops are braced and weighted, furniture is chosen for outdoor use, and every outdoor plan has a rain or wind fallback agreed with the venue before load-in.

Do you travel to Amelia Island from Orlando?

Yes. Your decor is designed and built in our Orlando shop, then our own crew drives it up, installs it on site and strikes it after the event. Travel and setup time are built into the schedule we send with your proposal.
Can you set up at resort venues on the island?

Yes. Resorts set load-in times, dock access, setup windows and insurance requirements. Send us your venue contact and we coordinate those details with them directly, then build the install plan around their rules.
What changes for a beach or oceanfront lawn event?

Wind, sand and salt air. We brace and weight backdrops and signage, choose furniture that holds up outdoors, and agree a rain or wind fallback with the venue before load-in.
What about hurricane season?

The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. For outdoor builds in those months we plan an indoor or tented option with the venue from the start, so the design works in either space.
Do you only work on corporate events?
