On April 26th, 2025, The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL was transformed into a whimsical world of wine, art, and surrealist celebration during Los Vinos de Dali. With over 700 attendees enjoying the scene, this unforgettable event came to life thanks to a dynamic collaboration between Florida Event Decor and Udream Events.
From the moment guests stepped into the space, they were met with immersive decor elements crafted and curated by Florida Event Decor — each designed to complement the unique flair of Salvador Dali’s legacy.

Rustic Charm at the Entrance: Italian Winery Vignettes
To set the tone from the very first step, we installed (2) Italian Winery Vignettes — a warm, rustic visual anchor that instantly transported guests from the museum’s modern architecture to the rolling hills of a Tuscan vineyard.
Each vignette featured:
Two authentic wooden barrels
Hand-placed faux grapes spilling out of rustic crates
Soft greenery and vines
Faux pillar candles for added charm and texture
These pieces weren’t just scenic — they became part of the evening’s storytelling. Guests naturally paused to take photos, sip their first pour of wine, and admire the tactile, nostalgic mood that these elements set.
Our goal with the vignettes was to create visual warmth and atmosphere without overshadowing the museum’s elegance. They anchored the space and subtly whispered: you’re in for a night of artistry, indulgence, and discovery.

Art You Can Step Into: Custom Dali-Inspired Face Photo Op
One of the event’s highlights — and one of our proudest builds — was the Custom Dali-Inspired Face Photo Op, designed and built exclusively by Florida Event Decor!
Inspired by the surreal, fragmented faces often found in Dali’s work, this 6' x 8' interactive installation featured:
A handcrafted wooden frame with a bottom platform for stability
Rope, sculptural wood, and layered “hair” pieces
Eyes, nose, eyebrows, and lips suspended on wire for a floating illusion
Printed face elements on sintra for durability and vivid color
Guests loved this feature. It became a magnet for selfies, couple photos, and group shots — a literal “face” of the evening that was both artistic and fun.
What made it extra special? It was a living artwork. Guests became part of the piece — interacting, laughing, and seeing themselves reflected in surreal form.

Luxe Boho Lounge: Acacia Furniture Groupings
To balance the immersive art moments with places to pause and connect, we provided two types of Acacia Lounge Furniture Groupings.Both setups created chic, comfortable nooks for guests to relax, chat, or simply enjoy their wine with style.

These lounges offered more than a place to sit — they brought warmth, natural textures, and clean design into the space. They struck a perfect contrast to the more surreal and sculptural elements of the event, grounding everything in comfort and quiet luxury.
Guests gravitated toward the lounges not just to take a break, but to be part of the space — turning these corners into organic hubs of conversation, connection, and yes… more photos.
A Collaboration Worth Celebrating
From the first concept sketch to the final crate rolled in for strike, Florida Event Decor was honored to take part in this imaginative production.
We provided:
Two fully dressed Italian Winery Vignettes
A custom-built surrealist photo op installation
Three full Acacia Lounge groupings, mixing textures and tones
