Oscars Party Set Styling · The Daytime Show
The Daytime Show: A Star-Studded Celebration of Glamour and Cinema
Florida Event Decor was featured on The Daytime Show, where Virginia Lockhart shared tips on throwing an Oscars party on a studio set we styled with a red carpet, oversized award statues and a gold bar.
To bring the awards-night concept to life, the studio was styled with dramatic focal pieces, film-inspired accents, and metallic finishes that created a festive, high-energy atmosphere throughout the set.
A Glamorous Entrance That Set the Tone
Guests stepped onto a bold red carpet flanked by stanchions, immediately evoking the energy of a major award ceremony. Oversized Award Statues and a prominent Clapboard installation served as striking focal points, providing photo-ready moments that energized both the audience and on-set talent.
Interactive Lounge and Bar Spaces
The Gold New Century Bar Surround became a central hub for interaction, combining sophisticated metallic finishes with functional service areas. Movie-themed accents, including film reels and decorative props, added layered visual interest and gave guests props to play with. Ambient lighting highlighted textures and metallic surfaces, creating a polished on-camera appearance without overwhelming the space.
Cinematic Details and Storytelling
Every element, from towering Award Statues to smaller themed decor, reinforced the Hollywood motif. Interactive installations and props encouraged guest engagement while supporting the overarching narrative of glamour and celebration. These carefully designed details created dynamic, photo-ready moments that read well on camera.
Production and On-Set Execution
Florida Event Decor handled drop-off, installation, and strike with precision. Furniture placement, structural decor, lighting coordination, and safety considerations were carefully managed to keep the studio camera-ready while maintaining smooth production flow. The result was a cohesive set that balanced visual impact with practical functionality.
