It’s Nice Outside: Games & Outdoor Decor for Your Next Event
For Paragon Events at The Boca Raton Resort, we filled the lawn with a mini golf course and outdoor games, so guests could mingle and have a little fun in the sun.
Tunnels and Obstacles
Mini golf needs a little challenge. Our mini putt tunnels and obstacles had everyone battling to sink the putt!
For this event, we delivered four custom mini putt-putt holes, each measuring about 8’L x 2.5’W x 6”H and designed in different shapes for a unique and exciting experience.
The tunnel obstacles included a bright Blue Silo, a classic Windmill, a Lighthouse, and dangling Chains on a wooden frame, each adding its own playful twist to the game. Guests couldn’t help but chat, laugh, and cheer each other on as they played.
This mini golf setup is perfect for team-building, networking, or casual mingling. It works indoors or outdoors, can be scaled to fit your space, and is fully customizable to match your party theme or brand.
Best of all, mini golf is easy and inclusive, no special skills required! It gives guests something fun to do beyond eating and standing around, while adding a nostalgic, playful vibe that makes the event memorable.
It is easy to set up and easy to play. For a gamified corporate gathering, a mini golf course with tunnels and obstacles is a hole-in-one idea.
Mingling between rounds
In every great event, there is always room for relaxation. After the excitement of the mini golf, guests were welcomed to rest, chat, and enjoy the ambiance in this sort of clubhouse setup. Balancing the playful, active energy of the mini golf, came this chill lounge area in natural hues and candlelights.
This black seating grouping, including two mid-century style black leather chairs and one plush velvet sofa, added sophistication by blending rustic tones with candlelight. Two round wooden coffee tables with modern metal bases stood at the center, encouraging conversation. Behind the seating, tall wooden panels with rows of glowing candles created a warm, inviting backdrop, softened further by lush green plants that brought a natural touch into the space.
Why Gamified Experiences Matter
A full day of back-to-back talks, presentations, networking and meetings keeps attendees engaged, but it rarely makes an event memorable. That is why event designers create gamified experiences: activities that break the routine, spark joy, and naturally bring people together.
Mini golf is a perfect example. It’s simple, inclusive, and instantly nostalgic, giving everyone a chance to participate with no special skills required. Games also ease stress and get people working together, and laughing over a missed putt is a quick way to connect.
At Florida Event Decor, we love turning ordinary gatherings into little adventures. With a mini golf course, a backyard challenge, or any interactive game, we make sure your guests are laughing, cheering, and taking part.
