String Lights That Flicker in the Air

Nothing speaks to your audience’s senses quite like ambient lighting. After all, what’s a picnic-inspired setup without string lights? Their warm glow instantly adds a nostalgic, cozy vibe, making any space feel intimate, enchanted, and safe. The soft gleam can spark memories of evenings gathered around candlelight or dimly lit corners where people come together to share stories, laughter, and connection.

Beyond their charm, string lights are incredibly versatile, allowing for creative arrangements that work just as well for casual gatherings as for sophisticated soirées. At Florida Event Decor, they’re one of our favorites because they blend function with style, delivering decor that sets the mood while encouraging guests to relax, interact, and enjoy themselves.

For this event, we suspended seven 40’ strands of incandescent clear bulbs on trusses wrapped in rustic burlap, with two fresh ferns at the base of each to enhance the natural, outdoorsy vibe. The result was a glowing, welcoming atmosphere that felt effortlessly inviting.

Taking center stage were our A-frame picnic tables, the ultimate picnic-inspired photo moment! Their sturdy construction makes them perfect for outdoor and indoors events. The built-in benches and rustic aesthetic foster a cozy, intimate atmosphere that’s ideal for family-style dining.

For this event, we set up eight A-frame tables, each seating six to eight guests. The communal, bench-style seating encourages conversation, helping guests mingle and connect naturally. A rustic aesthetic like this can make employees and clients feel more at ease than a formal setting.
